Pharmaceutical meeting delivery
Milestone developed a series of half-day workshops for events professionals as an "Introduction to pharmaceutical meeting delivery". The workshops have covered the pharmaceutical marketing spectrum from a global perspective to local affiliate level. The programme identified each activity phase (from pre-clinical to Phase IV), the types of meetings associated with that phase (from Advisory boards to product launches and sales meetings); we then highlighted the requirements of each and addressed potential issues.
Healthcare compliance
This workshop provided a comprehensive background guide to healthcare compliance and the European and US pharmaceutical industries' codes of conduct. We reviewed how the regulations impact the delivery of each event type from an Advisory Board to a product launch and how both event organisers and pharmaceutical marketing teams can avoid potential issues.
Congress activities
This training provided both in-house and agency events professionals with a background to congress management and an understanding of the key milestones from first announcement to final proceedings. We included a detailed understanding of the roles of the key stakeholders (from the convention bureau, the local and international association and organising committee to the congress secretariat and sponsors). Additional topics have been developed to assist event organisers with the delivery of sponsored satellite symposia at international congresses.
